The varsity Panthers dropped their 2nd game of the Sandhills Baseball Tournament falling to Permian's JV by a score of 7-4. The Panthers couldn't capitalize early found themselves in a 7 run hole to start the bottom of the last inning. Runners reaching base and doubles by Derek Hernandez and Diego Renteria closed the gap for Fort Stockton. But a strikeout with the tying run at the plate put an end to the late rally.
Fort Stockton will resume action vs. Coahoma on Saturday, March 2nd, at 5:00 pm in Monahans.
