The Panthers came out strong scoring on their first possession of the game. Cruz Rojas took a quarterback sneak up the gut for a 4 yard touch down run. At the half the Panthers were up 28-0. The defense came out firing on all cylinders holding the Yellow Jackets to only one first down in the first half.
On defense Adrian Hernandez and Felipe Sotelo both had interceptions. Cruz Rojas and Casion Burrus had forced fumbles that had big momentum swings for the Panthers.
On the offensive side Jaydrian Rameriz tallied up 3 scores leading the team in rushing with over 130 yards on the ground. Felipe Sotelo sealed the deal scoring the Panthers 5th touchdown of the night late in the 4th quarter.
The Panthers will get back to work preparing themselves to take on Alpine's JV Thursday of next week in Alpine, Texas.
The freshman white team took on the Greenwood Rangers and fell short at the end but gave tremendous effort. Jovany Hernandez played the entire game on both sides of the ball giving complete effort. They will be back to work preparing for their next contest that is TBA.
