The young Panthers traveled to Midland to take on Compass Academy out of Odessa Thursday afternoon. The Panthers had a big outing out lasting the Cougars 22-6 at the games end.
The touchdowns for the Panthers were scored by Cruz Rojas(2), and Caison Burrus. Jaydrian Ramirez and Joe Dominguez added two of the three conversions for two points each.
Isaiah Garcia had an interception to stop a big drive by the Cougars giving the panthers the finial edge. Also on the defensive side Cruz Rojas forced a fumble that was recovered and return 15 yards by Zane Hodges.
The young Panthers extend their record to 2-1 and will welcome the Chiefs of Lakeview to Panther Stadium on September 19, 2019.
