FRESHMAN VS. GREENWOOD

Tonight the freshman white team traveled over to Greenwood to play the Rangers. The score end up being a tie 6 to 6. It was a very cold night, but that didn't stop the young defense from playing a great game and only allowing 6 points. Bryan Lopez and Joel Orosco had key pass break up that helped keep the rangers from scoring in the second half. Over all the defense had many panthers that played very hard. The offense struggled with ball security tonight, but had some good drives within the game. The only score of the night came from a 70 yard run from Dylan Alvarado. The boys fought hard to overcome the cold weather and the coaching staff was very proud of their effort. The panthers play Sweetwater at home next Thursday at 5:30.
