The Prowlers beat Midland Christian, by a score of 48-42 today at the El Ave Tournament. The team opened up the game with a 21-5 first quarter. The Prowlers continued to play excellent defense throughout the game and they got enough offense to pull out the victory. The win gave the Prowlers the Consolation Trophy for the El Ave Tournament. The team was 3-1 overall in the tournament and their record on the year is now 7-6 on the season.
The Prowlers next game is Tuesday, December 17 at 6:00 p.m. at the SEC in Fort Stockton.
Scoring: Rebecca Rodriguez- 12 points, Kathlynn Salmon and Alexis Holmquist: 10 points each, Alyanah Dominguez- 8 points, Jocelyn Lujan- 5 points, Lyric Williams and Dania Mendoza- 2 points each and Katie Villarreal- 1 point.
