The Prowlers lost to Snyder Friday night. The game was not without positive lessons and some very encouraging moments for the Prowlers. The Prowlers started off slow and got behind early. Howevver they matched Snyder for the next two quarters, before Snyder outscored them by nine in the fourth quarter. Alexis Holmquist, Alyana Dominguez and Alexi Rivera continue to play very solid in the post. Their rebounding is huge for the Prowlers. Jocelyn Lujan, Rebecca Rodriguez and Dania Mendoza continue to play excellent defense and their guard play is improving from game to game. Eliana Mata, Brianna Diaz, Lyric Williams and Kylie Ruiz are still growing into more prominent roles on the team. They develop more chemistry with the team on a daily basis. Katie Salmon continues to evolve her game as the year progresses. Her passes were spot on and she had multiple assists. Katie and the other seniors are developing a group of players who are improving and getting better every game.
The Prowlers next game will be on December 27 at 9:00 a.m at the Mary Tatum Tournament in Big Lake at Reagan County High School.
