The Prowlers beat McCamey today at the Mary Tatum Tournament. The final score was 47-26 and the team’s record is now 9-10. The game featured a lot of different Prowlers including some new additions to the varsity. Eliana Mata, Brianna Diaz and Arial Smith all contributed significant minutes, great defense, and rebounding. Kylie Ruiz was the most pleasant surprise of the day. She made the transition to post and ended with seven points and was a force to be reckoned with on the boards. Elyanah Calderon contributed four points and excellent defense. Dania Mendoza has continued to improve defensively and contributed five points of her own. The team continues to improve and seems to be hitting their stride at the right time of year.
