The Panthers Powerlifting team traveled to Alpine to compete in the Alpine Powerlifting Invitational. The panthers fell short of bringing home the gold to Andrews by three points. All the hard work being put in by the team is really coming to light! Individual placers for the panthers were;
In the 114 pound weight class freshman Adrian Valdez placed forth with a combine total of 450 pounds,
In the 132 pound weight class sophomore Cristian Garcia took home his second straight gold with a combine total of 795 pounds,
In the 148 pound weight class sophomore Bryan Lee Rivera placed second with a combine total of 835 pounds,
In the 165 pound weight class senior Gabe Calzada placed third with a combine total of 1065 pounds,
