The Fort Stockton Panthers Freshman Blue team took on Monahans Friday, January 24th and fell 56-36. The Panthers were led by Isaiah Garcia with 16 points. Adimando Penaloza had a strong game as well, scoring 10.
The Fort Stockton Panthers JV team played Monahans on Friday, January 24th and lost 53-32. The Panthers picked up points from a lot of players, with Miguel Trejo being the leading scorer with 8. Dylan Jeter also scored 7, while Gael Sanchez finished with 6 in his first game with the Panthers.
The Fort Stockton Panthers Varsity tipped off against Monahans at home on Friday, January 24th and advanced to 2-1 in district play with a 40-36 victory over the Lobos. Derek Hernandez was the leading scorer finishing with 12 points coming off the bench. Damian Busby scored 9, and Erik Bislar finished with 8, thanks to two big three pointers in the fourth quarter. The Panthers will be open on Tuesday and will then be back at home next Friday to play against Seminole at 7:30.
