The Fort Stockton Panthers Freshman Blue team traveled to Pecos on Tuesday, February 4th to face off against the Eagles and lost another close one 47-43. Ethan Acosta led the Panthers with a season high 20 points, while Daren Ureste finished with 8.
The Fort Stockton Panthers JV team traveled to Pecos on Tuesday, February 4th and took one from the Eagles by a score of 38-28. The Panthers had three players finish with 8 points in Dylan Jeter, Elias Sanchez, and Danny Valenzuela.
The Fort Stockton Panthers Varsity traveled to Pecos on Tuesday, February 4th for the second half of district play and came home with a 66-63 victory over the Eagles. With the win the Panthers moved to 3-2 overall in district. Leading the Panthers was Damian Busby, finishing with 16 points and 9 rebounds. Colby Garrison also finished with 16 points. Derek Hernandez came in clutch down the stretch for the Panthers hitting 4 out of 5 from the line and a key three pointer. Hernandez finished the game with 11 points coming off the bench. Fort Stockton will be back at home on Friday to tip off against Andrews for Senior night.
