PANTHERS LOSE TO MONAHANS

The Fort Stockton Panthers met Monahans in Pecos on Friday, February 21st to decide who would get the 3rd and 4th seed for the first round of the playoffs next week. The Panthers fought back from a 11 point deficit after the first quarter, cutting the lead all the way down to 2 in the third, but ultimately fell short 60-49. Jesse Franco led all scorers with 13 points, while Colby Garrison and Erik Bislar finished in double digits, as well. The Panthers will face Clint in Van Horn on Tuesday for Bi-District.
