The Fort Stockton Freshman baseball team traveled to Pecos on Friday, March 6th for the second day of the Pecos JV Baseball Tournament to take on Midland Christian. The Panthers won a great baseball game by a score of 3-2, thanks to a fantastic start on the mound by Ethan Acosta, and a final two scoreless innings from Alfredo Molina. Molina also drove in the first and third run for the Panthers, while Acosta tied it up 2-2 with a rbi of his own coming off a base hit. The Panthers will continue their play in the tournament tomorrow at 5:00 PM against Pecos Purple for the championship game.
The Fort Stockton JV baseball team played Pecos Purple on Friday, March 6th for the second day of the JV Baseball Tournament and lost 9-6. Jose Luis Ramos contributed to the Panthers runs by hitting a 2 run single late in the game. Kayden Torres also did a good job pitching in relief for the team, finishing the final three innings.
