The JV Prowlers traveled to Lamesa Tuesday evening and came up short, losing by a score of 29-24. The Prowlers started the game sluggish only tallying 6 points in the first half. They picked up the intensity in the second half defensively, but still struggled on the offensive end. Entering the fourth quarter down 25-10, the Prowlers stormed back with a vengeance. However, their great effort came up short as multiple opportunities to tie the game fell off the rim and didn’t go their way.

Offensively, Priscilla Torres tallied 11 points, nine in the final period. Amaya Urias contributed 5 points, all in the fourth quarter, as well as some timely rebounds. Briana Flores scored 4 points. Mayrene Bernal and Ivanna Ortiz both scored 2 points. Keanna Torres and Camryn Sawyer helped ignite the Prowlers defensive effort in the second half.
