The varsity Prowlers earned a win last night against the Lamesa Tors. The Prowlers put up 45 points against the Tors 24. Offensively, our team was led by three underclassmen. Sophomore Brianna Diaz was the leading scorer with 15 total points. Sophomore Arial Smith had 12 points-6 in the final quarter. Lastly, sophomore Eliana Mata contributed 9 points. Senior Katie Villarreal made 2 baskets. Freshman Sophie Hernandez added 3 points and several offensive and defensive rebounds.
The Prowlers out worked and out hustled the Tors the entire game. The team played cohesively. We are proud of the team effort it took to receive the win.
As of right now the home game against Presidio on Monday 11/23 has been cancelled. We will update you if there is another game scheduled.
