The Fort Stockton Panthers Freshman basketball took on Ozona on Tuesday, November 24th for their first game of the season. The Panthers successfully grabbed their first win of the season with a score of 48-13. A.J. Granado led all scorers with 23 points. Xzavier Dominguez contributed to the win with 8 points, and Julian Leyva with 7, as well.
The Fort Stockton Panthers JV basketball took off for Ozona on Tuesday, November 24th to play the Lions for their first game of the season. After a halftime deficit of 8 points, the Panthers fought back to make it a two point game going into the 4th period. The Panthers then outscored the Lions by 8 in the last quarter to come out with a 32-26 comeback victory. Luis Medina led the Panthers with 11 points, while Marco Garcia finished with 8 and Aryan Hernandez 6.
The Fort Stockton Panthers Varsity basketball traveled to Ozona on Tuesday, November 24th to tip-off their first game of the season. The Panthers started the season off on a good note with a 50-39 victory. Fort Stockton was able to hold off Ozona after the Lions made it a one point game going into the last period. Devon Rodriguez led the Panthers with 14 points and 6 rebounds. Caleb Garcia also finished with 11 points, while Dominic Aguilar contributed to the win with 10 points of his own. The Panthers will be back on the road next Tuesday, December 1st against Presidio.
