The JV Blue basketball team suffered another loss tonight. This time to Coahoma. We suffered a nine point deficit (39-30). The first half started off slow. Defensively, we were not in position to slow down the Bulldoggettes offense. Offensively, the Prowlers scored 21 points in the first half. The second half we scored 19 points. We are still missing a few girls. Here are the highlights from our game:
Leading Scorers: Priscilla Trevino and Yvette Lopez. Both scored 9 points.
Amaya Urias added 5 points to the offense. Mayrene Bernal contributed 2 baskets to the offense.
Ivanna Ortiz had 3 defensive rebounds and 4 steals. Keanna Torres had 3 rebounds and 7 steals.
The Prowlers will host Big Spring next Tuesday at 4:30 in the SEC.
