Friday Evening the Girls Basketball program hosted Coahoma in a non-district game. The varsity Prowlers came up short in the final score against Coahoma. We put up a mild 30 points to Coahoma's 50. (30-50)Sophomore Brianna Diaz was the leading scorer with 13 points, 3 rebounds, and 3 steals. Junior Alyana Dominquez added 5 points and 6 rebounds. Sophomore Eliana Mata also added 5 points, 2 rebounds, and 5 steals. Freshman Sophie Hernandez had the most rebounds with 7 on the night.
As a young team they are starting to develop their skills and are gaining new experiences each time they step on the court. The Prowlers will host Big Spring this coming Tuesday. Tip off is at 6pm in the Special Events Center.
