The Varsity Prowlers were defeated yet again by Big Spring. 35-60 was the final score. The prowlers took a lot of shots (54) over the course of the game, but only 28 of those fell through the hoop. Junior Alexis Holmquist dominated her first game back with 12 points, 4 rebounds, and 1 steal. Sophomore point guard Brianna Diaz contributed a three pointer, 2 baskets, 5 steals, and 1 assist. Freshman Alissandra Jackson added 2 baskets, 1 free throw, 3 rebounds, and 2 steals. Alyana Dominquez (Junior) had 3 points, 11 rebounds, and 3 steals.
The Prowler Basketball program will travel to Sweetwater this Friday 12/11 to play Sweetwater High School. Varsity tip off is scheduled for 7:00pm.
