The JV Prowlers left Sweetwater with another victory on the season defeating the Lady Mustangs 32-26.
The Prowlers got off to a slow start and trailed the entire game but were always within striking distance. Entering the fourth quarter, the Prowlers trailed 21-16. Missed opportunities kept the Prowlers from taking control until they finally took the lead and ran away with the game.
Leading the Prowlers was freshman Priscilla Trevino with 16 points. Fellow freshman Amaya Urias put in 8 points. Yvette Lopez scored 4 points with Kat Mendoza and Mayrene Bernal both scoring 2 points each.
The JV Prowlers have evened their record to 5-5 on the season. They’ll be back in action Monday as they travel to San Angelo to take on Lake View.
