The JV Prowlers traveled to San Angelo to square off against Lake View on Monday. The Prowlers were able to defeat the Maidens 29-10 extending their win streak to three games and overall record to 6-5.
In a balanced offensive attack, Kat Mendoza led the way with 7 points. Mayrene Bernal and Keanna Torres each scored 5 points. Priscilla Trevino and Amaya Urias contributed 4 points each. To round out the scoring, Janeth Benavides and Yvette Lopez both scored two points. Jahel Encinas played a stellar game defensively for the Prowlers as they were able to stifle the Maidens.
The girls will be back in action Friday as they host Snyder in the SEC at 4:30.
