The Fort Stockton Panthers Freshman basketball played Lamesa on Friday, December 11th and lost by a score of 64-39. A.J. Granado led the Panthers with 15 points. Josiah Trejo finished with 6 points, and Julian Leyva contributed with 5 points of his own. The Freshman will be back on the road against Denver City next Tuesday.
The Fort Stockton Panthers JV basketball tipped off against Lamesa on Friday, December 11th. The Panthers went into half with a 2 point lead, but the Golden Tornadoes were too much for the JV in the second half. The final score was 61-43 in favor of Lamesa. Marco Garcia was the leading scorer for the Panthers with 18, while Luis Medina finished the game with 9 points.
The Fort Stockton Panthers Varsity basketball hosted Lamesa on Friday, December 11th and fell by a score of 80-53. The Panthers cut the lead down to 10 going into the 4th, but were not able to climb all the way back into the game. Devon Rodriguez was the leading scorer for the Panthers, finishing with 18 points. Cruz Rojas also had a season high in points, finishing with 16. Caleb Garcia contributed with 8 points, and Dominic Aguilar had 6. The Panthers will be back in action tomorrow at home, against Del Rio at 11 AM.
