The junior varsity Prowlers pick up another loss tonight, this one at home. Prowlers were down 16-1 at the end of the first quarter. Second quarter the Prowlers added 8 points to their score. At the end of the third quarter we increased the score 11-39. Final score was 15-51.
Every game there is a different group of girls suited up. This season has been the year for injuries and illnesses. No matter who is on the court each girl shows up to play with endless effort and hustle.
Freshman-Leading Scorer- Amaya Urias was our entire offense tonight. She scored 13 of our 15 points. She was 6 for 7 on 2- point shots and 50% from the free throw line. She added 1 steal, 7 rebounds, and 1 block.
Junior Brianna Flores added our other 2 points, 6 rebounds, and 2 blocks.
Sophomore Yadira Hernandez played awesome defense. She had 3 rebounds and 1 block.
The Prowlers travel to Andrews this Saturday to take on the Lady Mustangs.
