On Tuesday 1/12 the Prowlers hosted their second district game against Greenwood High School. The Prowlers started off slow with a 12-21 loss at the end of the first quarter. The girls rallied back during the second quarter to close the gap to 21-30. Greenwood High School began to pull away in the 3rd and 4th quarter. Prowlers ultimately ended up losing the game. Final score was 66-41.
Stats: Sophomore (Leading Scorer) Brianna Diaz scored 11 points, 2 assists, and 1 steal.
Junior Alyana Dominquez- 9 points, 2 rebounds, 4 steals, 2 assists, and 3 blocks.
Junior Alexis Holmquist added 6 points, 1 rebound, and 1 block.
Sophomore Eliana Mata had 4 points, 3 rebounds, 3 steals, and 5 assists.
Sophomore Arial Smith contributed 4 points to the offense, 6 rebounds, 3 steals, and 5 assists.
The next district game has been moved to Saturday 1/16 in Andrew. Tip-off is at 2pm.
