The Prowlers take another loss on the road. Today, we travelled to Monahans to take on the Lady Loboes. We expected a good game as we have already beat them once in district. Unfortunately, we came up short losing 53-69. The Prowlers started off in a hole early on losing the second half 39-20.
Junior Alyana Dominguez was the leading scorer with 15 points. She also had 7 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 block, and 2 steals.
Sophomore Eliana Mata added 13 points, 1 rebound, and 1 assist. She did outstanding driving to the basket tonight.
Junior Alexis Holmquist scored 8 points and had 4 rebounds.
Sophomores Brianna Diaz and Melissa Villarreal contributed 5 points a piece.
Sophomore Arial Smith had 4 rebounds, 2 assists, and 3 steals.
The Prowlers move to 2-4 in district play.
Next up, we host Seminole on Tuesday 1/26 in the Special Events Center. Game time is at 6:00pm.
