VARSITY GIRLS FALL TO FIRST PLACE SEMINOLE

What started out as a defensive battle soon became a tough night for the Varsity Prowlers when six turnovers helped the Seminole Maidens take an early lead . A lead that was never threatened. But those relentless young Prowlers fought for the whole game even though the outcome was inevitable as the prowlers struggled to score and the turnovers mounted. High scorers for the Prowlers were Sophomores Brianna Diaz and Lala Mata with 7 points each. Followed by Ariel Smith with 4 points. Alexis Holmquist, Alyana Dominguez,and Ali Jackson scored 2 points each. Amaya Urias made her Varsity debut with 2 points scored. Dominguez led the defense with 9 rebounds and 3 blocked shots for the evening. Diaz, Jackson, Smith and Mata all had 2 steals for the Prowlers defense. The young Prowlers squad will face the Greenwood Rangerettes Friday Night 6:00 pm, in Greenwood, as they continue to pursue a spot in the State Playoffs!
