The Prowlers took their first loss of the season last night to the Monahans Lady Loboes 10-1. This was the first district game as well as the first loss. Freshman Sabrina Cook pitched a good game. She had a couple strikeouts. Unfortunately, a few good hits and a couple errors caused a 9 run difference between the Prowlers and the Loboes. Freshman Sophie Hernandez caught a good game as well and had a base hit. Junior Kassidy Montanez added another base hit.
Sophomore Aubrie Whitecotton played outstanding in left and right field as well as getting hit by a pitch at the plate.
Junior Yanet Rodriquez added another base hit as well.
Sophomore Arissa Gonzalez scored the only run the Prowlers had on the night.

The Prowlers are on the road again this Friday. We travel to Seminole to take on the Lady Maidens. The JV game will start immediately after the Varsity game.
