Friday evening the JV softball team travelled to Seminole to play the Lady Maidens. The Prowlers ended with a close loss: 7-10. The Prowlers trailed most of the game, but never gave up. The team fought to keep adding runs to the board each inning. Junior Kassidy Montanez hit a double off the wall, then next at bat sent one over the fence for a two run homer. Junior Yanet Rodriquez also came in clutch adding base hits with runners in scoring position. Freshman Sabrina Cook pitched a great game and also hit well at the plate. Sophomore Arissa Gonzalez who was put into the catching position last minute did a wonderful job blocking balls and framing pitches. The Prowlers finally have their first home game this Tuesday following the Varsity at 5pm.
