The Prowler Sub Varsity lost to the Andrews, Lady Mustangs Friday night. We started off slow in the first inning allowing 5 runs to score. Another bad inning later in the game put us down another 5. The Prowlers fired back up on offense scoring a total of 7 runs. Hits from Ivanna Ortiz, Yanet Rodriquez, Sabrina Cook, Sophie Hernandez, Tori Wilkins, and Kassidy Montanez got us on the board. In the circle for the Prowlers was Alex Cook, Sabrina Cook, and Kassidy Montanez.
Defensively, the girls pulled off an incredible triple play!! It started with a fly ball to Janean Gonzalez in center field, then she threw the ball to Ivanna Ortiz who tagged the runner going from second to third, Ortiz fired to Sophie at home to tag the runner trying to advance from third.
The final score ended 12-7.
The Prowlers have another home game against Pecos on 3/30.
