The sub varsity Prowlers took another district loss tonight against the Monahans Lady Loboes. After losing the first game earlier in the season 10-1, the Prowlers knew they had to answer back. Unfortunately, we came up short tonight 10-6. We did improve offensively from the first game.
Junior Kassidy Montanez was a big hitter for us tonight. She hit a home run, reached on an error, and scored runs.
Junior Kaylee Soto helped us out offensively with a base hit.
Freshman Melena Ramirez added a double off the fence and scored a run.
Freshman Sabrina Cook added a hit and pitched the first half of the game. She had 4 strikeouts.
Sophomore Arissa Gonzalez added 2 base hits.
Junior Alex Cook added a base hit and finished off the game in the circle. She contributed a pair of strikeouts.
Junior Tori Wilkins added a double as well.
The Prowlers have another home game against Seminole Lady Maidens this Friday following the Varsity game.
