The Fort Stockton High School JV Volleyball team ended the 2021 Comanche Classic with a 3rd place finish in the Silver Bracket.
Throughout the tournament, the JV squad competed at a high level. The Prowlers showcased their varsity potential and gained valuable experience for the program.
Offensively, Freshman Mia Garcia stood out. She quarterbacked the offensive threats of Ashlyn Marquez, Angie Aguirre and JazLynn Pacheco. Additionally, Garcia helped the Prowlers as an offensive left-handed outside hitter.
Liberos are the best defensive player on the court and Arissa Gonzalez definitely embodied that definition. She was instrumental in the team’s success adding digs as well as providing impeccable passes to keep the offensive chances alive.
