Prowler Volleyball squads extend win streak at home with clean sweep of Apline Lady Bucks

Fort Stockton, Texas (Sept. 18, 2021)-- Fort Stockton's Volleyball teams brought out the brooms on Saturday at their last non-district home game of the season against Alpine. The freshman squad earned a victory in 3 sets. The JV squad defeated the Lady Bucks 25-23 and 25-15. Varsity put the Lady Bucks away in 3 sets with scores of 25-15 25-21 25-11.

Prowler fans showed up and showed out today for their team. A packed and monstrously loud student section in the Bill & Virginia Special Events Center (SEC) helped propel the Prowlers to the following stat lines:

The Prowler JV team put the game away quickly, only going two sets with scores of 25-23 and 25-15. Freshman Mia Garcia led the Prowlers again 4 assists, 3 digs, 2 aces and 2 kills. Sophomore Sabrina Cook-Pineda stepped into her role as a defensive specialist with 6 digs. Junior JazLynn Pacheco added 2 aces and 2 digs. Freshman Setting recorded 4 assists in the victory, while Junior Ashlyn Marquz ended with 3 kills. Freshman Adamari Renteria stepped into the starting lineup for the Prowlers and added 2 assists. Junior Angie Aguirre rounded out the stats with 1 kill.
