Monahans, Texas (Sept. 25, 2021)- Fort Stockton High School’s Volleyball program opened up district play against Monahans. Although the Prowlers gave it their all, all three teams fell short of being victorious.

The JV team fell to the Loboes 13-25 and 17-25. It was a tough loss for the Prowlers, but the team took it as a learning lesson for upcoming district matches. Stats include: Aubri Salgado 1 assist and 1 ace, JazLynn Pacheco 1 kill, Abriel Villarreal 1 kill, Mia Garcia 2 assists and 1 kill and Melissa Villarreal 1 kill.

Coach Ramirez stated, "Today was a tough loss, but it's something this squad can grow from. We need to use this loss as fuel going into our next district matches. We have to head back to practice and grow from this."

The Prowlers will be back in action at the Bill & Virginia Williams Special Events Center (SEC) on Tuesday, Sept. 28. First responders are encouraged to attend and be recognized by the volleyball program. Additionally, the student section is invited to attend and wear their neon clothing for “Neon Night”.
