Fort Stockton, Texas (Nov. 9, 2021) - The Fort Stockton Prowlers opened up their season by hosting the Kermit Lady Hornets on Saturday, October 30. Coming out of volleyball season can be tough for some athletes, but the Prowlers were able to show their basketball dominance. With a full team, the Prowlers were able to rotate their time on the court between upperclassmen and underclassmen. The Prowler Junior Varsity roster features a handful of juniors and sophomores with a sprinkle of freshmen.
The Prowlers traveled to Permian High School on Tuesday, November 2. Although the Prowlers came out hot, they were unsuccessful in stopping Mojo's offensive efforts. Defensively, the Prowlers are able to shutdown offenses and force turnovers. Offensively, the Prowlers will need to head back to the gym and get the basketball back into their hands.
On Saturday, November, 6, the Prowlers will travel to San Angelo to take on Stephenville High School in a non-district matchup. This will be the first game of the season for the Prowlers.
