Coahoma, Texas (Dec. 20, 2021)- With another non-district contest, the Fort Stockton Prowler Girls Basketball JV and Varsity teams traveled to Coahoma. Looking for redemption, the JV Prowlers came out and shutdown the Bulldogettes 39-13.
The Prowlers capitalized on their 21 steals, but still turned the ball over 16 times. As a team, the Prowlers recorded 15 rebounds, 9 assists, and 3 blocks.
Offensive efforts in the victory are as follows: Estrella Aguilar 8 points, Yvette Lopez 6 points, Dmya Vaughn 4 points, Yadira Hernandez 4 points, Krysten Zuniga 4 points, Priscilla Trevino 3 points, Mayrene Bernal 2 points, Aubrianna Whitcotton 2 points, Liz Bislar 2 points, Alahna Flores 2 points, Janean Gonzalez 1 point, and Aubrey Jones 1 point.
The Prowlers will take a much needed break for the holiday. The program will be back in action on December 30 and 31 at home. On December 30, the Prowlers host Del Rio and on December 31 Sweetwater will come into town.
