PANTHER POWERLIFTING HOST TRI-MEET

The Mighty Panthers powerlifting team hosted a tri-meet tonight in the Panther Den! They were joined by visiting schools Monahans and Pecos. Again with some young lifters the Panthers were able to climb to the top of the leader board edging out Monahans by one point yet again, 47 to 46, while Pecos totaled 15 points. Representing the Panthers and taking first place in their respective weight classes were; Jayden Gureva in the 123s, Gabriel Caballero in the 132s, Alonso Galindo in the 148s, and JC Napay in the 220s. These young men and their teammates continue to put in the work during the early mornings to get better each and every day. A big thank you to those that volunteer and help the meet run smoothly, we couldn't have done it without you! Coach Fellows stated "I am proud of both our Panthers and Prowlers for the way they competed tonight, they gave it their all, testing new limits and succeeding." The Panthers will divide up and send out two teams this weekend one going to Alpine and the other to Andrews! Good luck and safe travels.
