Seminole, Texas (Jan. 28, 2022) - The Prowler Basketball program traveled to Seminole on Friday, Jan. 28 for a district matchup. The JV Prowlers dropped the district contest to Seminole 20-69.
Yvette Lopez and Estrella Aguilar led the team with five points. Dmya Vaughn followed with four points. Aubrey Jones and Yadira Hernandez each rounded out the scoring with three points.
Vaughn added 7 total rebounds in the defeat. Aubrie Whitecotton tallied four rebounds. Aguilar added three. Mayrene Bernal and Liz Bislar added one rebound.
Additionally, Whitecotton added two assists. Aguilar, Yadira Hernandez and Nevaeha Ybarra added one assist. Hernandez rounded out the stats lines with one block.
The Prowlers will be back in action on Tuesday, Feb. 1 at the Bill and Virginia Williams Special Events Center. Games are set for 4:30 p.m., 6 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
