The Fort Stockton JV Blue traveled to Denver City on Tuesday afternoon. In the top of the first inning, the Panthers jumped ahead 1-0. After two complete innings, Denver City took a 3-1 lead. Joey Herrera, Julian Leyva, and Rylan Nunez all had solid plate appearances leading to RBI's which gave the Panthers a 5-3 lead. Josiah Trejo went on to pitch a complete game and sealed the first victory of the season for the JV Blue. The Panthers will resume action on Thursday at 5:00 p.m. in the Pecos Tournament.
