The Fort Stockton JV Blue traveled to Pecos on Thursday night and faced the Pecos JV Purple. In the top of the first inning, the Panthers jumped ahead 1-0. Joey Herrera scored the first run of the ballgame off the bat of Abrian Natividad. Abrian also started on the mound for Fort Stockton and was relieved by Isaiah Ureste. The Panthers were not able to hold onto their lead and suffered a 12-1 loss. This brings their overall record to 1-2. This was the first of three games the Panthers will play in the Pecos Tournament. The Panthers are right back at it Friday morning at 9:00 a.m. facing off against Monahans.
