JV BLUE VS. ANDREWS

The Fort Stockton JV Blue faced the Andrews Mustangs in their second district game. Josiah Trejo Started on the bump for the Panthers striking out 7 batters through 4 innings. The Panthers jumped to a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the first inning. The Panthers caught fire at the plate in the 4th and 5th inning. Isaiah Velasquez with 3 RBIs, Zhane Natividad with 2 RBIs, and Divani Palacios with 1 RBI giving the Panthers a 9-0 lead over the Mustangs. Ayden Villareal came in to relieve in the top of the 5th striking out 3 batters sealing the victory for the Panthers. The JB Blue improve their overall record to 3-5 and 1-1 in district play. The JV Blue will be back in action on Tuesday in Pecos @ 4:00 p.m.
