On Friday the Panthers traveled to Monahans for their 4th district game. Johndrey Reyes
started on the mound for the Panthers striking out 4 batters through 3 and 1/3 innings. The Panthers struck first making it a 4-0 ballgame in the top of the 2nd inning. Monahans answered back and eventually took a 9-5 lead after 3 complete innings. Bryan Encinas came into to close the game on the mound. The Panthers showed a lot of fight but unfortunately came up short with a final score of 9-7. Joey Herrera went 3-4 and scored 3 runs, Zhane Natividad had 3 RBIs, and Abrian Natividad had 2 RBIs. The JV Blue will be back in action on Monday at Seminole. The Panthers fall to 1-3 in district play.
